Chair Yoga Class Off to a Wonderful Start!

Our Weekly Chair Yoga Class has officially launched, and our first session was a great success! We had a fantastic turnout, and the smiles, laughter, and positive energy in the room were a true reflection of how much everyone enjoyed the experience.

This welcoming class offers the perfect opportunity to move, stretch, and strengthen your body in a safe and supportive environment; and it’s not too late to join in! New participants are very welcome, and we’d love to see even more people benefit from this enjoyable and accessible form of exercise.

We’re excited to share some lovely photos from the session to show just how much everyone enjoyed it.

We’re thrilled to share that this program is proudly funded by a Care Together Seed Funding grant from Cambridgeshire County Council. Thanks to this generous support, we are able to offer the class at no cost to participants, and can also assist with transport for those who need it.

Why Chair Yoga?

Chair yoga is an excellent choice for anyone looking to stay active without the need for strenuous movement. Whether you’re brand new to yoga or have practiced for years, this adaptable form of exercise offers a wide range of benefits:

Enhanced Joint Movement – Gentle stretches help improve flexibility and reduce stiffness.

Increased Strength & Balance – Strengthening muscles and improving stability can help prevent falls and increase confidence in everyday life.

Improved Well-Being – Movement, breathing exercises, and mindfulness promote relaxation and reduce stress.

Perfect for older adults or anyone with limited mobility, chair yoga ensures that you can enjoy the benefits of yoga without needing to get down on the floor.

Join Us – and Help Us Grow!

Our experienced and friendly instructor will guide you through simple yet effective poses, breathing techniques, and relaxation practices, all from the comfort of a chair.

Due to the popularity of the first session, we’re now looking to launch a second weekly Chair Yoga class in St Neots starting at the end of May. You do not need to commit to joining every session, just come when you can.

Can You Lend a Hand?

We rely heavily on our fantastic volunteers, and we’d love your support. If you drive and could offer a lift to someone in your area, it would make a real difference and help even more people attend.

Interested in joining or helping out? Get in touch, we’d love to welcome you.
