HiVIS 2026

HiVIS 2026

Info

HiVIS Fortnight celebrates accessibility, inclusion, and the vital connection between public libraries and blind and partially sighted people. Each year, this event brings together organisations who make a genuine difference, through technology, support services, innovation, and expertise.

You will also find our monthly coffee morning taking place on the first floor, so join us for a coffee, cake and a chat after you have looked round.

The HiVIS event brings together a broad mix of organisations under one roof, creating a welcoming space where visitors can explore support options, ask questions and discover practical solutions. Alongside learning about the library’s inclusive range of resources, activities and accessible content, attendees will be able to speak directly with specialist organisations and service providers who understand the challenges of living with sight or sensory loss.
We’re pleased to confirm that the following organisations have already signed up to exhibit at this year’s event:

Adlam & Coomber
Blind Veterans UK
Care Micro Enterprises
Cobolt
Deafblind UK
Guide Dogs UK
Healthwatch
Humanware
Sensory Services
Specsavers (Hunts)

Each exhibitor brings unique knowledge, experience and resources, offering everything from assistive technology and rehabilitation support to health advice and local commissioning insight.
We look forward to welcoming members of the public, professionals and partners to what promises to be an informative, inclusive and engaging event. Together, we can continue to build awareness, strengthen connections and ensure that no one in our community faces sight loss alone.
