We were sent the following obituary by Helen Bosworth who was the secretary at Hunts Blind until retirement in 2017. Helen still volunteers for us as a driver, and helps at St Neots Social Club and Coffee Mornings.
Rosemary Edwards July 1943 – April 2025
We are sorry to announce that Rosemary Edwards died at the end of April. She had a long association with Huntingdonshire Society for the Blind beginning in 1986 as an Assistant Secretary and Fundraiser. In 1989 she became the Secretary until her retirement in 2003. Rosemary looked after the members and with the help of her husband, John, would organise the Annual holiday for a coach full of members and carers. Even after she retired, she continued to accompany the members on their holiday until John became ill. Our sincere condolences to her family.
