Our Heritage
Founded in 1855, William Peacock & Sons Funeral Service has been a cornerstone of the Huntingdon community for generations. Originally located on Orchard Lane—behind the old Jail Building and opposite the Bridge Hotel—our family-run business has always been committed to providing respectful and personal care during life’s most difficult moments.
In 2001, we relocated to Castle Hill Lodge, a beautifully renovated facility officially opened by Miss Petersen of the National Association of Funeral Directors and the Right Reverend Flack, Bishop of Huntingdon. In 2012 we became part of Dignity Funerals. This purpose-built space includes:
A private mortuary for dignified care of loved ones
An on-site workshop for handcrafted coffins
A peaceful chapel for family visits
